ZatStartTM is only possible due to the kind support of our participating premier firms who have extended significant discounts over their professional fees to make it easier for Startups and individuals to file for patents with high quality.
ZatStartTM package is applicable only for Startups and Individuals. The package price is applicable only if the patent is filed in the name of the startup and / or individual(s).
Once you purchase a ZatStartTM package, your request is transferred to a participating premier patent firm. For each request, you are eligible for a free initial consultation with a premier firm. Only, if you are 100% satisfied, you can initiate the project and pay for the service. If you are not satisfied after the initial consultation or your requirements have changed, you can request for a refund.
The initial consultation can be done over the phone, internet or personal meeting. It is purely based on your convenience and the convenience of the participating premier firm.
In this case you will only be charged for the patent search and the remaining amount will be refunded.

Only once you are completely satisfied after the initial consultation you can pay by cash, cheque or bank transfer to initiate your project.

Every purchase of a ZatStartTM package on Zatalyst.com includes a free initial consultation backed by our satisfaction guarantee. And you are highly advised to use the free initial consultation to decide if you wish to work with the Zatalyst partner firm for your patent requirements. Once, the initial consultation is done, you can decide if you wish to continue with your patent project with that firm or not. Only if you are completely satisfied with the initial consultation, you are advised to request the firm to initiate the project. If for any reason you decide not to continue with the project after the initial consultation and inform the firm about the same, you will not be charged, provided you have not asked the firm to initiate the project.
Once, you have confirmed the project to the firm (with or without having an initial consultation with the firm) and the firm based on your confirmation has initiated / completed the project, satisfaction guarantee from Zatalyst will not be applicable. In case of any dispute, you will need to resolve the same with the firm as the decision of any refund after the initiation of the project lies solely with the firm and Zatalyst has no control.
Further, we at Zatalyst have requested each of the participating premier firms to seek your express confirmation before starting the project after the initial consultation to avoid any inconvenience to you and our participating premier firms.
Hence, it is absolutely important to have the free initial consultation and make an informed decision after the initial consultation. If for any reason you are not interested in taking the project forward after the initial consultation, kindly communicate the same clearly to the firm in writing. Further, if you have any doubts, we urge you to choose ‘Buy now and Pay later’ option while placing your order on Zatalyst. That way you pay to the firm only when you are sure about giving the project to them.
Additional note: For packages with additional options like Patent Search, etc., in case the search turns out to be negative and in light of the report you decide not to go ahead with the filing of the patent application, you will only be billed for the activity performed and the remaining money will be refunded back to you.
